TASK # 2 - Coonhounds

You would like to purchase two Redbone Coonhounds for the purpose of hunting. Your parents have asked that you present them with evidence that you are capable of making a competent selection as well as able to be responsible for the care and upbringing of such dogs. You will need to persuade them. Be sure to include information about prices, what to look for in a coonhound, and how to care for and train coonhounds.

TASK # 4 - The Great Depression in Poetry

• When did it occur? Why? How were people's lives affected?
• One of the links contains stories of the time written by people who lived through it. These may help you get some ideas. Remember, not everything about that time was negative; some of the stories tell of overcoming difficulties.
• When you have finished your research, write a song or a poem about the Great Depression.
• You may write any style of poetry.
